Gameplay balance is as important to us as it is to you. Whilst we feel that artillery adds a lot to the gameplay by complementing the other vehicles, we understand that having too many SPGS on each team makes for less fun gameplay. If there are too many of them, the game can slow to a crawl with everyone to worried to leave cover. As a result we feel that high-tier battles are not as compelling or as exciting as they should be due to the high number of artillery units appearing.
After assessing gameplay data and player feedback, we have decided to make a change. From now on, there will be a limit to the number of SPGs that can appear on a team in each random battle. The limit is currently set to 5 SPGs per team. However, we will continue to monitor both data and player feedback to see if additional changes are needed.
In order to implement this update, the server will undergo a short maintenance on December 29th at 06:00 CET (05:00 GMT) for around 30 minutes.
We hope this change will help you to enjoy the game even more.
